Who are we?
Brunel Lacrosse was founded in 2009 and since then has gone from strength to strength. Both our Men and Women's Teams have just come out of one of the most successful seasons in the history of Brunel Lacrosse! The Women's First Team skyrocketed up to the 1st League and our brand new Women's Second team also did amazingly well, with more freshers than ever playing matches and constantly improving to secure their spot in the League. The Men's Team won the Cup Final and comfortably secured their spot in the League, demonstrating their unbreakable strength, determination and success throughout the year.
Now Brunel Lacrosse is raising money to cover new equipment and coaching costs. It is extremely important to have access to high quality coaching and equipment as it will be a valuable addition to our training sessions and subsequent development of the club to even greater success!
How can you help?
By donating to this cause you will be undoubtedly helping us improve even more and pushing the name of Brunel Lacrosse even further. We are aiming to raise at least £500, with all funds raised up to £250 being matched by Brunel University London.
The new equipment will enable us to develop new and talented players to send them to Sout East trials and to keep the Women's first team in 1A League and to push the Men's Team to move up to a higher league. We are looking to get new sticks (both men and women's), goals, men's equipment (helmets, arm protections, gloves) and goalie's equipment (both men and women's).
We are now a SPP (Sports Perfomance Programme) sport which means we require high quality coaching. In order to maintain the high level of the club we intend to have a Level 3 coach.

Being a part of Team Brunel is often the highlight of our students time studying at Brunel University London; the weekly training sessions that provide a structure to the week, the BUCS Wednesday fixtures against other institutions that are all followed by a night out afterwards (win, lose or draw!), and the excitement at the end of the year when Varsity and the Team Brunel Ball approach. The friends made through sports clubs are often friends for life, and the skills developed from being on a club committee help set our students up for life after graduation.
If you have fond memories of your time as part of Team Brunel, and would like to develop and enhance the opportunity available to others, your support would be greatly appreciated, via our new initiative ‘Friends of Team Brunel’.
All donations made via the platform to a clubs fundraising page will go directly to the clubs account to be spent by the club committee on enhancing their members experience in line with the stated aims of the club.
